Here's page 13 of Fusion #8, and Savunn flies her geek flag with pride.

Hello,2am! Hope she doesn't have school tomorrow.
EssayBee 24th Sep 2013, 9:31 AM
Nope. Her date with Shane (from last issue) was on a Saturday, and this is the same night.

So very early Sunday morning, then. What a wake up call. Next page: Fusion staggers to the crime scene, [ Big yawn ] Okay, I'm here. [ Suddenly wide awake ] Where did that come from?!

Aah Savunn, a geek girl to the end.

Always love Bob's commentary.
EssayBee 24th Sep 2013, 5:53 PM
Yep. Savunn's a geek, and proud of it.

Bob is hilarious as always. I'm wondering if this has to do with Mr. Hopeless, as the scene still feels a little connected to the car incident that X-Pletive was examining to me, somehow. Any which way, I'm sure it shall be fun~

Not sure if "fun" is the right word for what's to come, but you'll have a good idea of what's brewing next update.

It would be awesome if due to being groggy she showed up to the emergency in the wonderwoman jammies instead of her costume, even if its only a spoof
EssayBee 25th Sep 2013, 3:32 PM
That could be especially disastrous--I don't think her nightie would survive her powering up.

A late comment here, but doesn't her costume form around her, and maybe her clothes? Otherwise she would be going though clothes faster than Ameilda Marcos went through shoes. She sure doesn't have pockets so maybe they go to the dimension known as hammerspace, or some other 'pocket' dimension.

I actually explained this a bit over at TheDuckWebcomics (during her onscreen transformation in Issue #5). To paraphrase a bit: My physics may be messed up (and I know String Theory is only theoretical) but the clothes are technically dimensional dopplegangers. Bob changes the "vibrations" of the subatomic "strings" of her clothes to make one set fade out of her dimension and another set fade in. The flash of her transformation is just an energy discharge from the dimensional shift.

Of course, in some cases (such as on this page), she just changes her clothes the way everybody else does.
