A war between "order" and "chaos"? Reminds me of my comic's order guardians and chaos agents. Very different from your version, but I thought I'd mention.
The concepts of the Inceptiverse and the Nothingverse are far from original. It's all a sort of yin/yang thing, only with a bit more of a scientific than a spiritual slant. (Although I think Captain Stupendous here is suggesting that a purely scientific look at these sorts of things oversimplifies matters.)
I have fairly detailed backstories/origins for many of the main characters (even though all of the details will probably never be revealed in the main story--I just like to have lots of info on hand for off-the-cuff references to spark reader speculation). These between-issue interviews are just a nice way to flesh out these characters without devoting lots of in-comic page space to this sort of exposition. There's a lot of between-the-lines stuff going on in these interviews (Savunn's notes will sometimes draw attention when there's more to what's being said), since the heroes can't divulge anything that'd compromise their secret identities, so there will still be some revelations about them in the main story. The next interview (which will post after issue #9 wraps up in July) will be with Adam Conroy, who, although he's not a superhero, is a big financial backer of SAS. Plus, you can bet Savunn's notes will start to show how she figured out his alter ego.
awesome stuff. i like that the order and chaos aren't just some super people (like marvel's or DC's fundamental forces of the universe people). totally alien for a real alien threat, nice job.
