Here's the last page of Alanna's interview with Captain Stupendous. Next week will see the beginning of Issue #9, as well as a return to Tuesday-only updates. (Sorry!)

Although I'm new to your comic, I've got to say I'm impressed. Great Art/Story. The way you do the magazine articles reminds me of the extra material that Alan Moore puts into his comics. Great work!

Welcome to Savunn's life! You know, I never even thought about the Alan Moore connection with these interview articles, but you're exactly right. And glad you're enjoying the comic!

Thus endeth the twice-a-week postings!
It's back to the once-a-day habit?

I think you mean "once-a-week habit." But, yeah, once a week for the next 26 weeks (that's the cover and 25 pages of story in Issue #9). I'm trying to build up a good buffer of pages so that at some point I can comfortably move toward twice-a-week updates, but that will be at least a year away (if I can even get to that big of a buffer).

very nicely done, I really enjoyed the whole article and can hardly wait for the Brooder's, but we must get to see the new chapter too, I cant forget that. Once a week updates are fine. :) some comics (like mine) hasnt updated in yrars. Not from lack of vigor, but because the software update corrupted my files and I realized I was pirating files for it. I never did get back to it, maybe I should try it with Blender :P Or if I could find a good artist.....

Glad you enjoyed the interview. And sorry to hear about the corruption of your files. I have 3 external drives that I always try to keep my comic files on, so that I have plenty of backups of all of my materials. (Which reminds me . . . I should do a backup. I don't think I've backed up my files for a month.)

as for the backups, you can set your computer to do auto backups every so often, then at certain intervals swap out your external HD for a different one. that way you will cycle through your HDs (doesn't have to be a physical cycle either, just switching which HDs your backups go to) and if things go really side ways you at least have 1 or 2 HDs with old back ups (say 1 and 2 months old, assuming something happens that chunks your current external HD that you are using).

well done, so for he seems like some people i've met, so that is good. it would have been too easy to not have any vanity to him, which isn't really realistic. what would be really great is if everyone thinks there is something between him and alana, but that is just media spin (not on alana's side of course, just the entertainment people that have trouble with a close personal relationship without romance).

Glad you like the Captain's personality (minor flaws and all). As for his relationship with Alanna . . . that would by typical of the media to sensationalize their relationship. Hopefully we'll get to see some of their interaction at some point in the story.
