Sorry about the lack of an update this week, but last week was really rough (as I'm sure you can understand from Savunn's letter). Thankfully, Savunn swooped in to keep this week from being a total bust for you folks. Thanks, Savunn!

Thanks, everyone. Some good news--I shouldn't miss any more updates. I'm well underway with the next page, and have layouts and lettering done for all but the last page of this issue (and I'll probably have the layout and lettering for that page done this week).

Maybe Savunn's Corner should be a separate webcomic series?

She runs her corner at the end of the print issues of Fusion (available at Indyplanet.com) as a bonus for folks who buy an issue. Otherwise, she only writes notes for special occasions as bonus content--and certainly not often enough to be its own series. I had given thought to her doing a black and white strip to showcase life on the SAS Space Station, but dropped the idea when I started developing another series (which may get launched toward the end of the year or early next year).

awe, so sad when our family go on the final journey. My heart goes out to you and just remember, this was just his temporary home. (google it for a really sweet and sad video that might make you cry)

you'd think with me being an ET i'd be able to fix things with a glowing finger, but alas i can't. if i could i'd have dropped everything to fix your dad as a small thank you for all the enjoyment you have given us. from personal experience in these things i can only hope he went quick, and can offer my condolences (which isn't really much comfort).
