Let's hope the final few pages will be of Fusion deciding what's next for her and will she be willing to accept whatever fate the SAS(or Brooder)has in store for her?
Black Rose--There's still some info to be learned, but it will prompt some action on Fusion's part. However, the "fate" Brooder has in store for her won't be revealed until next issue.
Black Rose--Her hair has changed several times. First 4 issues (and Crossoverkill) had a "flatter" hair style with a strand across her face; issues 5 and 6 gave the bangs of her part a bit of flip and a blue highlight; issues 7 and 8 toned down the blue highlight a bit (more gray-white highlight); and issue 9 to present sort of did a cross between her original hair style and issue 7-8 style, with toned down bangs and a return of the strand across her face.
As has been established, she can fuse every atom that comes into contact with her body--including every strand of hair. If she cuts her hair, she could potentially severely downgrade the amount of power available to her, so I don't expect her to get a short haircut anytime soon.
Dude in Distress will be more Teen-rated. The characters are older and--being a story about a developing relationship--will have some mature themes. (And one of the characters is a big-time womanizer.) That's not to say it'll be serious--it'll be lighthearted and (hopefully) funny.
