Here's page 5 of Fusion #11, and Stupendous gives Fusion a pretty good reason to stand down. Those "vicious people" Stupendous mentions will be hinted at a bit more in the next scene.

On Thursday, look for the next teaser image for "Dude in Distress."

Real friends help you move bodies."

Will those "vicious people" hire snipers to take out Savunn's adoptive parents, her classmates and anyone else associated with Fusion?

Black Rose--Don't know about snipers, but that's the sort of thing Stupendous is hinting at. Still not sure how much of this will be explicitly explained, but the next scene will give a bit of context for who these "vicious people" are, and you can start to fill in the holes from stuff already revealed.

As long as this doesn't become you're version of Civil War...!

Nope. No Civil War-style story here.

That's not the turn I expected this to take, and I'm pleasantly surprised.

The main drawback is that Fusion is rather distinctive in her appearance, and she left hundreds of witnesses. It may well get out that she was the one who intervened.

Zodo--You're exactly right about witnesses . . . and that'll be addressed to some extent at the end of this issue (in the epilogue, to be precise).

Will it be revealed that maybe these "nasty people" might be employed by the government and yet will vehemently deny ANY ties to them?

Right honorable.
I admire that.
