Here's page 6 of Fusion #11, and it looks like Fusion will take the Captain's (and Brooder's) advice.

It seems Fusion won't be going to D.C. after all! Now what will she do upon returning home?

I forgot to mention this earlier, we also now know that Stupendous can fly faster than Fusion. At least when she is not totally cooking it. Though I wonder, why would you a) fly slower than you normally could, and b) why there hasn't been a superhero plane/ship collision yet in any media, Flying Supers don't have radar transponders, If anything a flying super looks like an incoming missile, not counting that ionized trail is sure to show up on radar, so ATC at least has a good idea of where Fusion lives.

Aww, glad they're not giving her crap over this. Still, its always interesting to see how different writers handle Superheroes and real-life politics.

Makes me think of how its handled in the universe of my comic Iron Violet. Most of the Superhero community is split down the middle. Most completely disregard the UN, mostly out of disgust for having to deal with the scummier members of their charter that try to make their jobs of saving lives harder, while the other half work hand in hand with them, since while they don't like it they don't want to spark World War III.

Things always get complicated when you mix superheroics and global politics.
