Here's page 10 of Fusion #11, and it seems something is weighing on Brooder's conscience.

On Thursday, look for the next Dude in Distress teaser.

So what is Brooder going to tell X-pletive that he can't tell Captain Stupendous?

Looking forward to Thursday...!

I'm getting the feeling that a lot of Brooder and X-pletive's conversations keep X-pletive charged for a while. :D

Something deep is going on!

Bliss--Yeah, this issue has a lot of deeper stuff going on, even though it's a talky issue, but, as implied from its title of "Moral Consequences" (which is the title of this entire story arc, beginning back in Issue #5) it'll be about all sorts of consequences. (And, since you've been reading Crossoverkill, this is the issue that takes place before Crossoverkill. Next issue will take place after Crossoverkill.)

And speaking of Crossoverkill, for those who don't already know, Neil has been posting the complete Crossover series--Crossoverlord and now Crossoverkill--here at ComicFury. You can read it at: http://crossoverlordkill.thecomicseries.com/ . Fusion is only in Crossoverkill, but Crossoverlord is a blast too and is the first of the--to date--2 part mega-crossover series.

Yeah, it must really suck for X-Pletive to have to do that to be a superhero. Real catch 22.

Okay Brooder, let me guess, this involves manipulating a certain young and stubborn heroine into causing an international incident for the sake of saving lives at the cost of this girl's possible reputation on the hero scene?
Black Rose 19th May 2015, 3:52 PM edit delete reply
Not to mention putting her life and the lives of her friends and adoptive family in jeopardy!

Hopefully Brooder is NO profiteer..!

Black Rose--Brooder's definitely not a profiteer (not to say someone else won't be profiting from these events, as you'll see in the epilogue to this issue). But Brooder will touch on some of the other stuff you mentioned.

Phantomskyler--You act like Brooder may have a conscience about the way he manipulates things (and people). Could Fusion be exposing a chink in his emotional armor?

I trust Brooder. After all he DID hand pick She-Cat to be on his "Black-Ops" team. That shows smarts! ;p And should his actions cause harm to Fusion I promise She-Cat will have to teach him a lesson the hard way. Nobody puts Fusion in a corner!

Savunn's gonna kill you if she sees that comment, Bliss--she'll be flying around with "I Had the Time of My Life" stuck in her head.

You think that's bad? I've had the image of She-Cat and Savunn dressed as Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey stuck in my head all day!
Black Rose 19th May 2015, 10:59 PM edit delete reply
EssayBee has made a valid point, imagine Savunn coming home to find her adoptive parents dead, later to find Harold lobotomized and Shane "committed suicide."
