Here's page 14 of Fusion #11, and it seems there may be more to Brooder's reluctance to talk to Captain Stupendous than he first let on back on page 10.
Black Rose--Brooder's always tricky to get a read on. Here, what you say could certainly be true, or he may be reluctant to bring up what happened, knowing Stupendous (like Riveter back in Issue #8; in particular, http://fusion.webcomic.ws/comics/232/) would immediately know the part Brooder played in the Darmar situation and certainly give Brooder an earful for involving someone as young as Fusion in this. I expect more of Brooder's friendship with Stupendous will be explored in future issues, which may add further clarification to Brooder's thinking here. But this isn't Brooder's story, and I've never talked to the guy, so most of his thoughts will have to be inferred.
Black Rose--She's out on her date with Shane; don't wanna interrupt her bit of downtime, do you? There's still one more scene (starting next update) before we get back to Savunn.
