Being an excellent marksman won't help, considering Brooder already took all the ammunition out of the gun.

He would have noticed if the mag was empty. Brooder probably replaced the bullets with blank rounds. :P

How this deal? I give you back the bullets that used to be in that gun after I leave. Which of course takes me back to my original deal.

Mr President assumes Brooder is physically there.

A holographic projection would be a big threat, of the "I was able to get this into your office without you knowing. What else do you think I could do?"

How in blazes did Brooder get to Darmar, did he teleport?

Everyone keeps the hold out gun in the top drawer. What a trope a better place is a holster strapped under your chair. That way you can dejectedly drop your hands to your side as you move back from the desk. Of course you should still keep the gun in the drawer so they don't look else where for one.

hmm, If brooder was able to creep in unknown then he probably has a few more tricks up his sleeve. But after examining the gun in the troped up drawer the clip seems to be there, unless the clip was emptied and slid back in, along with the chamber.

Ad for unarmored, I think Brooder might have someone else with him who is protecting him or some kind of gizmo protecting "the unarmored parts of your face"
