Here's page 19 of Fusion #11, and it seems like Brooder has a guardian angel after all.

A result not predicted by anyone in the comments. Well done.

It shows that Brooder is putting a lot of faith in CS, as well as the Darmarian President's reputation as a marksman.

Zodo--Yeah. After the previous scene (X-Pletive and Brooder) and what Brooder decided about needing Stupendous's help, I was surprised only one person mentioned anything about this possibility.

And, yes, Brooder does have lots of faith in (and respect for) Stupendous. I suspect we'll get to see a lot more about Brooder's thoughts about Stupendous in the final story arc. I suspect we will also hear more about what Stupendous thinks of this scene. (Hint: He's not too happy with it.)

Who break the news to Fusion that she'll have to lay low for political reasons until the events of Crossoverlord?

There's a reason it costs points to have an ally, in super-powered RPGs. :)

Zodo--True. Gotta have some repercussions for "invulnerability by proxy."

Black Rose--Nothing that direct. Just establishing how things are as referenced in Crossoverkill.

What's next, convincing Darmar's president NOT to demand Fusion be handed over to him??

Well, after tomorrow night's concert that ends so badly, but could have been so much worse, nobody will be able to find Savunn for a few weeks. It will be like she disappeared from the face of the Earth. Maybe some fingers point to a minor military dictatorship?

Nutster--Well, the concert that Savunn's at in Crossoverkill isn't "tomorrow night," but it is very soon and will be mentioned again. [It was actually first mentioned back on page 3 of Issue #5 (http://fusion.webcomic.ws/comics/127), which kicked off the Darmar story arc.]
