We interrupt your regularly scheduled Fusion update to bring you a Halloween greeting from Savunn. She wanted me to share some holiday cheer with you all, and sent me a pic of her and Shane dressed up for trick-or-treating. I guess even the good guys wanna be bad guys sometimes.

Fusion #11 will continue next week (only 2 pages to go in the issue).

I wonder if Essaybee remembers the 1980s G.I.Joe cartoon series and maybe next Halloween we get to see Shane and Savunn dressed up as:

Duke and Scarlett
Flint and Lady Jaye
Shipwreck and Cover Girl
Lt.Falcon and Jinx

Destro and the Baroness?!?!?

I used to watch G.I. Joe all the time when I was a kid, although I don't think Savunn has watched much of it--her geek love seems to be geared more toward comics and Star Wars and not a broader 80s nostalgia.

how about Bunny and Clyde from the old cartoons, I forget which they were a part of, it's been sooo long but I remember them for some reason from the shadowy mists of my childhood memories. I think I always enjoyed them for some reason but I just can't think of it.

If you ever do a store, you should sell the dead batman head bag. I don't think I've ever see that idea and as its creator you can follow Yogurt's advice about Merchandising.

How would Shane and Savunn look as Kick Ass and Hit Girl???

Can I say "Kick Ass" here?
EssayBee 29th Oct 2015, 9:51 AM
Black Rose--Well, Savunn already rocks the biker shorts and skirt in her civies, so I guys Hit Girl's outfit wouldn't be that big of a leap.

How would Shane and Savunn look as Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask?

Anyone here seen the pilot episode of Supergirl?
EssayBee 30th Oct 2015, 7:34 PM
Black Rose--I watched it. Pacing felt a bit rushed and had all of the "standard" emotional beats (which were resolved very quickly) of a typical teen drama--pretty much everything had a happy end, with previews of future threats. But the tone is fun, the characters show promise, and Benoist's portrayal of Supergirl is enjoyable (plus it looked like she was rockin' the lace-up boots from her original Animated Series design during the bank robbery scene, which scores bonus points in my book). It certainly has promise. Hopefully with many of the main characters and plot threads established, future episodes will focus on developing a few threads per episode instead of focusing on so many threads in a single episode; it'll help build drama and avoid that rushed feel. But the good points definitely outweighed the problems, so I'll be tuning in again.
