Here's page 18 of Fusion #13, and we begin to get into the "hows" and "whys" of the differences between Major Power and Captain Stupendous. For some discussion on Creation Energy and the Inceptiverse, refer to the interview with Dr. Electric (which will be referred to on the next page).

Thanks for clearing that up. What else is there to know about the captain?

Your info's a week ahead of schedule! (But I enjoy it when readers know what's going on before it's said.)

This does raise another question... Where do Major Power's energy come from?
Assuming he has either human or merely enhanced mitochondria, that is surely not enough to fuel Stupendous' base powers. So we're basically learning that
- In a contest of endurance, Stupendous would surely win
- Lord had to come up with some kind of alternative energy source for the Powers which, if discovered, will surely lead to a weakeness

i'd bet on dranomyte.

If Major Power is powered by Drainomyte then a contest between the two of them would be exceedingly complicated. If SAS were careful and Major Power requires eating Dranomyte just to survive then they could conceivably starve him of energy because the world's reserves of that mineral are pretty thin. Of course that won't be the hero way to go about it.

I'd also bet on drainomyte. Hmm, this explains a thing or two... (Also, the difference would make Major Power the Bizzarro-equivalent of CS.)
