Here's page 23 of Fusion #13, which brings this issue to a close. When I first outlined this issue, I had expected this to be about the halfway point of the issue, but turns out I greatly underestimated the amount of content to be covered and how everyone would talk about things. Thankfully, this will allow more room for the Brooder backstory to breathe next issue, so we may see some flashbacks for the first time. (In fact, unless there are presentation changes from outline to script, Issue #14 will open with a flashback.)
Next week, we'll begin a a month of promo material and previews of things to look forward to in 2017. Then we'll continue with the story.
Actually he just wants to know where the information was so that he can go to scrub it better. He doesn't want anyone else figuring that information out but his reaction to it gave it away. If he wasnt Brooder then this conversation and the other information that she has received would not have been brought up. It's much easier to deny something and provide no information when you want to try to hide something then to come up with an excuse that can be picked apart and determined what's real and what isn't.
I just realized he has doubbly given himself away. All she said was the name 'Adam' to Brooder. Implying, but not stating "Adam Conroy". If he wasn't Brooder then it would be unlikely that Brooder were to share that comment with anyone else also named Adam. The cat was out of the bag the instant he reacted, however because its not Brooder having this discussion, this discussion is also confirmation. Riviter likewise has given herself away. And she outed mimic, though there's no telling what he actually looks like!
What's next for Savunn and will this interview get the results Conroy wants?
Also, the reaction of Brooder is what gave him away. And he did confirm it. I mean how many Adams lives in the city?
