There is no reason to show that unless you don't believe what she is saying. She discarded the female names that means she spent no time on the process. I do have a question with her to order choice however. It would have been much better to compare the directories before discarding the female names because very likely that would have shrunk her pool of people to check if the name were female.
Or since she may have been dealing with paper in both cases -- Drop them during the compare.
Since I have software and a scanner, I would be tempted to OCR the names on both lists since directories are always printed in easy to read text, and then let the computer find the duplicates.
Although name drops like that would be fun, it would contradict the multiverse narrative set up in Crossoverkill (and Crossoverlord). Looking at the Presideath's doppelgangers, they all looked different (including being different sexes and species) and had different names, so it's unlikely that the doppelgangers of those characters in Fusion's universe would have the same names. Plus it's been established that Mindmistress has no doppelgangers.
I recognised all but Valerie Upton and Natasjia Ashenheart. Sydney and Kaycee I feel like I know pretty closely, those comics are two of the best reads ever written - including all genres and formats - if you ask me.
I believe that real soon we'll run into the problem I noticed a while back. Brooder has a square jaw, but that's caused by the cowl. Conroy's chin is pointy.
Black Rose, I recognized almost all of them but sidekick girl's
Bailey,Parker Lynn - Dasien
Lyons, Lorelei -- Mind Mistress
Jones,K.C. - Magellan (I think)
Scoville,Sydney -- Grrl Power (Halo)
Upton,Valerie Side Kick Girl (I didnt know)
Knight,Michelle -- Dasein again
Ashenheart,Nastajia -- The Dreamland Chronicles
hmm that is a great idea, when I need a list I'll do name cameos and drive Hogan battier once I get my comic ready.
i had forgotten about dasein's civy name.
don't read enough of Grrl power to know Halo's.
forgot about sidekick girl's identities, as i haven't read that in ages.
ashenheart's wouldn't be on that list due to not being of this world (though the non-elf girlfreind would work, and as you can see i am drawing a blank, looked it up - nicole).
K.C. Jones is the main character in the magellan comic (so you thought right).
What would have been better was a dead-ringer who was really listed as dead. Someone fake with a fake social media footprint and closer to Brooder pictures. Then anyone searching for this person would have tripped a web-bug to alert Brooder to the search.
I'm actually more surprised that the library had the employee directory to begin with. Usually that kind of information is considered corporate confidential and should not be released to public libraries.
