Here's page 51 of Fusion #14, and it seems Oblivion is a patient chap, although that patience is probably more calculation to maximize misery.

Despite some dark moments, Fusion will continue to ultimately be a positive series.

OMGee... I think I felt a little attack of sweating. I trust you, but I have no idea how this situation could be solved. Please please please...

I must admit that I totally forgot about him during the last several pages.

I think this is the first time we've seen this guy. interesting reveal.

We've seen him back on page 18 of Issue #7 (http://fusion.thecomicseries.com/comics/198/) and on the last page of Issue #11. It's also probably not a surprise (or spoiler) to tell you it was his craft we saw at the end of Issue #4 (when the "No hope" line made its first appearance). His handiwork and influence have also been sprinkled throughout the series--sometimes obvious, sometimes not so obvious (including earlier in this issue). But he does seem to be upping his game (which probably means his machinations are at a place where stepping up his game is necessary).

The only craft I notice in the last page of issue 4 is the space shuttle, which may or may not be what you're talking about (that yellowish greenish shape I took to be a landmass). The other two I did forget about, though. Thanks for pointing those out.

I wasn't aware at the time that that character was the one having that effect, so I probably didn't connect them in my mind at the time, and thought he was just someone you were planning on bringing in later.

Actually, the craft's appearance is on page 47 of Issue #4 (penultimate page of the issue).

As for not realizing Oblivion was the one causing the effect . . . It wasn't stated, so easy to not make the connection. Bob and Penelope also discussed Oblivion toward the beginning of Issue #13 as well (starting on page 5; http://fusion.thecomicseries.com/comics/405).
