Here's page 54 of Fusion #14, which brings this issue to a dreadful close.

Now for some bad news--especially given the cliffhanger ending of this issue. As you probably know, there's usually about a 1-month period of filler material between issues of Fusion. Since next issue will feature Blue Banshee, who's the property of Elysium Bliss, I'll need a bit more lead time to coordinate scripting with Bliss, so there will likely be closer to 2 months until Issue #15 begins. If possible, I'll cut the down-time as much as possible, but I'd guess there will still be at least 6 weeks until the next issue.

In the meantime, I'll upload some Essay Bee Comics filler material and a bit of background on some of the crazy concepts and characters that'll be featured in the next issue. And rest assured, for as strange as the next issue may get, I think you'll like where things go.

Now Conroy is saying "No Hope." What does this mean???

It means Oblivion wants to send a double-whammy of a message.

The end of the chapter, really?

This either a very, very sad ending when the implications that are left by this page are executed out (<- not sure whether that's proper English, feel free to correct me) (which would be: Dandy-Lion dead, Adam Conroy killing himself very soon) - or the biggest cliff-hanger that leaves a few minutes for a save of one character while the destiny of another one is uncertain at best.

Tl;dr: Oh my, hnnnnng!!!!

(That above is my first/direct reaction to the page. You said that the comic is meant to be by and large positive, so I tend to believe that the cliff-hanger theory is the more likely one - but still, this means that the next chapter must be as short as a few minutes in comic time, or a flashback(?) chapter. Man, you really require some trust of your minions er readers ;))

Edit: OMG I mast have been sleepwalking when I wrote this a.k.a. It wasn't me. Typos removed, I hope, all of them.

Next issue will be pretty large in scope--a multi-multiversal search for Captain Stupendous. I'll be posting some conceptual theory stuff in the next few weeks (currently available at the Patreon page).

But this cliffhanger ain't gonna stop hangin' any time soon.

Personally, I'd search Lord industries real estate first.

YOU MONSTER!!!!! Why would you make this kind of a cliffhanger! Ah well, I absolutely love this comic. I found you after stumbling on the Crossoverlord/Kill series and I've read through the archives about three times now. Can't wait for more!

Glad you're enjoying the series! Crossoverkill was a lot of fun and fit in perfectly with Fusion's tone, but it's a lot more action-oriented than Fusion. I'm always happy when folks find their way here and aren't disappointed/bored with all the talking!

That said, these next few issues will have a good bit of superheroic action.
