I think bob may be letting his loyalty to his species get in the way of his judgement. but Brooder is not considering all sides here....He's jumping to conclusions.
To those who may not get it, Brooder is this world's equal of Batman. He always has a plan.

Um no he's not , I mean sure there might be some similar points but he's not batman. People have to try to understand that not everything about a character has to do / be about a well known / popular / mainstream one .
I'm with SMXLR8 here, Batman (as long as I read the comics about him) was not like Brooder is here, well, admittedly the Batman stories (as much as I know them) were written simpler than this, but Batman would give a former criminal a chance.
The attitude Brooder display in the 2nd panel is exactly what I loathe about most military and police organizations: "If we can't overpower it with easy, we must use all force to destroy/kill it!" Blech!!
(Said attitude also contradicts the loophole in the law about superheroes, methinks.)
